Der Tintenfluss ist relativ sparsam, ein Test mit der Tinte "Indian Red" von Graf von Faber Castell war nicht besonders erfolgreich (Aussetzer). Die Tinte "Cobalt Blue" vom gleichen Hersteller performt allerdings ganz gut. Im Vergleich zu einer Platinum 3776 (EF) ist die Sailor jedoch "kratziger", nach dem Einschreiben bzw. einer Politur der Feder sollte das Ergebnis besser ausfallen. IGUANA hat wie immer rasch geliefert, die Kaufabwicklung war sehr gut!
