- This Izumo Tamenuri fountain pen is red colour (#28 Akatame) that we can see on the rings at the cape and the body of the Fountain pen. It is made of ebonite material, and it wears a Tamenuri lacquer finish. All Tamenuri's process (Urushi lacquer) have been performed by traditional experienced craftsmen. A vivid beautiful Urushi lacquer finish will be increased in beauty over time.
