    How to write using a fountain pen

    At first sight this may seem like something easy and even obvious, by writing correctly with a fountain pen is more complicated that what is seems like.

    1. Feel the fountain pen

    It is necessary to feel and understand how to write using a fountain pen. When doing it, you should not make any pressure as ink is more liquid and excessive pressure may damage the nib or scratch the paper.

    1. Correct grip of the fountain pen

    The way we grip the fountain pen has a great impact on the quality of our hand writing. 

    The correct way of gripping a fountain pen is with relaxed wrist and fingers. The fountain pens body has to be resting in the muscle between our index finger and thumb with a smooth angle. We should not squeeze the fountain pen or clasp with strength. The more comfortable we feel, the prettier our handwriting will look.

    1. Finding the ideal contact point

    Each fountain pen is unique and must have their optimum ideal contact point with the paper.

    When you find this ideal contact point, the ink flow will be precise and continuous.

    1. How to take care of a fountain pen

    Fountain pens are delicate pieces so we have to take care of them. It is better to put your caop on a fountain pen to avoid the ink from drying. Once in a while we must clean the fountain pen's nib and converter with tap water. Furthermore, it is not advisable to store a fountain pen while its charged.
