Its design highlights the shine and colors of Urushi lacquer, with a robust and exclusive body found in Izumo fountain pens. The process of lacquer application and subsequent polishing achieves a smooth shine and texture characteristic of Urushi lacquer. For the first time, the nib, clip, and other metal parts feature a rhodium finish, enhancing the body's color. Izumo IRO URUSHI combines traditional craftsmanship with a modern touch. It introduces two new models, including Aitetsu Iro, a discreet and elegant color that combines indigo and iron. It includes an ink bottle, converter, and cartridge. They will also come accompanied by a new design of Pen Pouch, featuring classic Japanese covers, and the iconic wooden box from the Izumo collection.
